About The Position

As a Team Lead at a child care center, you promote children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth while leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction makes up at least 50% of the weekly schedule. You communicate and build relationships with families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success, and you manage, train, or mentor new hires and fellow Teachers as they create engaging learning experiences for preschool children. In the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, you take on their duties, including opening and closing the school. You also ensure children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.
