We boldly go. On-Site (5 days) Responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities within the area assigned to achieve established objectives. Coordinate work assignments and facilitate safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and training accomplishment of assigned team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience preferred: Data Stream, nonconformances, behavioral based safety, Crane Certified
  • Minimum 2-year experience: Data Stream, NCMS, BBS, schedules, MDI board, some knowledge of Excel and Word, Team Leader Development Program Graduate.
  • Minimum 2-year experience in addition to Team Leader Development Program Graduate, Data Stream, nonconformances, behavioral based safety, schedules, manufacturing daily improvement board.
  • Some knowledge of Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Able to work the line in multiple stations.
  • Think critically, Problem Solve issues on the line, Escalate the issue as needed.
  • Train on safety, company policy, scheduling, overtime, standard work and nonconformances.
  • Train on communication, Lean processes and tracking, Let's Get Started and leadership skills.
  • Ensure pull system and business standards (including but not limited to: TAKT sheet expectations, escalation processes) are being followed.
  • Provide tactful communication to peers and leaders.
  • Work on 9 steps (Lean), nonconformances, behavioral based safety, manufacturing daily improvement board, 5s, TPM, and running GEMBA/Let's Get Started.
  • Write or re-write std work, standard work audits and continuous improvement, drive safety culture.
  • Train with supervisor to be able to cover when not present.
  • Work on the lines schedule, overtime and personnel training/schedule.
  • Ensure TAKT expectations, jump in and get line back to TAKT, escalation processes are being followed, documenting misses.
  • Responsible for safety in zone, drive safety culture.
  • Responsible for quality in zone.
  • Document misses on pareto board and use 5 why to reduce future occurrence.
  • Able to cover when supervisor is not present.
  • Continuous Improvements for the line YOY of 10%.
  • Work with WGM to achieve Plant KPI.
  • Conduct Safety Audits throughout line, drive safety culture.
  • Quality-able to drive line to meet quality metric using (Business Operating Standards tools).
