About The Position

The Team Lead assists with overseeing gym operations to ensure a positive member experience. The role supports staff development and member service, performs front desk duties, assists with team member management, and provides backup support to the Club Manager as needed. It also helps maintain the gym’s cleanliness and appearance, supports marketing efforts, and assists with supply ordering, inventory, and reporting.

• Ability to stand and walk for at least 75% of the shift.
• Ability to talk in person or on the phone for at least 75% of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing staff.
• Help oversee member service and ensure staff provide a great customer experience.
• Perform front desk tasks, including answering calls, responding to information inquiries, checking in members, processing sign-ups and cancellations, and updating member account information.
• Meet prospective members and provide gym tours.
• Help address member service issues and questions.
• Assist with team member management and provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Help create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Assist with overseeing gym cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist in managing marketing efforts and ensure team members know about and are trained on current promotions.
• Assist with ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and tracking reports as needed.
