About The Position

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries is seeking a Team Lead to assist with operations at the England Run location. The Team Lead helps supervise the sales floor and processing department in the absence of management, ensuring merchandise is available to the public in a clean, attractive environment and that customers receive excellent service. The role may also support other store functions as needed to meet work goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of retail or related experience.
Availability to work during operating hours as needed for business operations.
Complete all RGI Team Lead training programs.
Complete additional mandatory training courses as directed by the supervisor to retain the position.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Model appropriate personal appearance, behavior, and quantity and quality of work.
Consistently maintain 5 S standards and score requirements.
Ensure exceptionally friendly customer service.
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the sales floor, including merchandise replenishment, displays, and advertising signs.
Assist cashiers with voids, refunds, change, and X and Z readings as needed.
Remove poor-quality, damaged, or aged merchandise from the sales floor.
Maintain safe shopping and working conditions, promptly address fixture and equipment problems, and report violations to the Store Manager.
Follow security policies, enforce security rules and regulations, and report incidents to the Store Manager.
Assist with other store functions as needed to ensure work goals are met.
Reinforce cross-training across store functions.
Keep the Store Manager informed of problems and successes involving the sales floor and processing department.
Complete other duties as assigned.
