About The Position

Elite Touch Cleaning Services is currently seeking a motivated, dependable, and bilingual Team Lead to support our airport cleaning operations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, maintaining high cleaning standards, and helping lead a team in a fast-paced, high-security environment. As a Team Lead, you will provide direction, motivation, and support to cleaning team members assigned throughout the airport. You will help ensure all assigned areas meet company and airport quality standards while maintaining strong communication between employees and management.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Team-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish to assist with airport test comprehension and employee communication
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • A valid government-issued photo ID (State ID or Driver’s License) that establishes identity
  • One of the following original documents: U.S. Birth Certificate (not laminated), U.S. Passport, U.S. Naturalization Certificate, U.S. Permanent Resident Card, U.S. Employment Authorization Document (EAD), Unrestricted Social Security Card (not laminated)

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of leadership or similar experience
  • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience
  • Experience in customer service
  • Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections in assigned areas
  • Lead and support cleaning teams during daily operations
  • Assist with employee training and coaching
  • Provide guidance on safety procedures, cleaning processes, and chemical usage
  • Help oversee schedules, time sheets, and staffing needs
  • Report damages, safety concerns, and performance issues to management
  • Monitor supplies, equipment, and inventory
  • Ensure all airport security and compliance standards are followed
  • Act as shift lead in the Supervisor’s absence
  • Maintain positive communication with team members, passengers, and management
