About The Position

The Team Lead oversees the assembly of Palmetto State Armory’s AK product line. This role involves leading the Lower Assembly/Armorer Team in building various versions of the AK rifles, delegating tasks for production, and ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards. The Team Lead will work with the Parts Room Supervisor to ensure units built are in compliance with current work orders, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure team members wear and maintain personal protective equipment. All other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of firearms
• Strong Communication & Organization Skills
• Needs minimal supervision to accomplish tasks
• Must be motivated, self-directed and enthusiastic
• Must be able to multi-task
• Maintain a positive attitude, be goal-oriented and focused on the overall strategic picture of the organization, and follow through with tasks assigned
• High attention to detail
• Effectively work in a team setting
• Work efficiently as well as quickly
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and data entry
• Patients, persistence and problem-solving skills are very important.
• Maintain confidentiality as required
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree
• Previous lead experience
• Advanced knowledge of AKs
• PSA Manufacturing or Assembly experience

Responsibilities
