About The Position

Responsible for production work orders specific to their product line and/or work cell assignment. Responsible for knowing, following, and not deviating from the appropriate procedures assigned to their product line and/or work cell. Must have ability to show proficiency in their assigned area by having approved competencies. Must also have the ability to work in a team environment and have attention to detail. In addition, promotes a continuous improvement culture through a team focus on safety, product quality, employee engagement and productivity in order to deliver the highest quality product to customers. Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions; works on production line duties for majority of scheduled shift. Manages time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of independent decision making. Displays versatility and flexibility on a regular basis within department. Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results. Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns. Responsible for communicating instructions, suggestions, and initiatives in a positive manner. Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team-based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement and 5S, participating in safety programs, and regularly providing ideas for process improvement or cost reduction. Punctuality and Attendance: Follow attendance policy as outlined in our company handbook. Leads small production team within one manufacturing line in relation to cell needs at the production level. Resolves technical and/or resource issues on the line in regard to equipment, process and people as much as possible. Partners with supervisor to ensure all team members are adequately trained and maintain completed competencies and ensure all employees are following standardized work and completing quality records accurately.

Requirements

High School or GED
3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
