Team Lead position available for an individual who enjoys motivating a team to meet goals established per shift. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am until 3:30pm (OT will be required based on business need) 1st Shift Team Lead Job Responsibilities Assigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity Monitors the productivity of your team members, sharing numbers daily and coaching underperformers Auditing the quality of work performed by your team members and giving feedback as necessary Assists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork Maintaining high standards for professional conduct Onboarding and Training new hires Giving feedback as necessary for productivity, attendance, or workplace conduct Listening to feedback and resolve issues from your team, escalating as necessary Promoting a safe and motivating workplace and atmosphere Completing required tasks in a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Tasks would include printing orders, researching orders, following end of day processing for manifesting and invoicing.
Requirements
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while under pressure and work in a team environment.
- Must be able to provide leadership to team members on various projects.
- Strong communication skills, writing and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work legally in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
- Previous experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual for Spanish is preferred.
- Have a proactive and self-motivated work style.
- Enjoy working independently with strong attention to detail.
- Must be willing to submit a background check.
