About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience. This role involves supporting the Club Manager in daily operations, focusing on staff training, member service, and front desk tasks. The Team Lead plays a crucial part in maintaining the club's positive image, cleanliness, and marketing efforts, ensuring team members are well-informed and motivated.

Requirements

  • Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
  • Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in training and developing staff.
  • Assist in member service oversight, ensuring great customer experience.
  • Perform front desk tasks including answering phone calls, taking info calls, and assisting with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and account updates.
  • Greet and provide gym tours to potential members.
  • Assist in facilitating member service issues and questions.
  • Assist with team member management and provide backup support to the Club Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Help create and maintain a positive image for the club.
  • Assist in overseeing the cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
  • Assist in managing marketing efforts and ensuring team members are aware of and trained on current promotions.
  • Assist in ordering supplies, keeping inventory, and tracking reports.
