About The Position

At Crossroads Turning Points, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing substance misuse and mental health challenges. We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Team Lead Withdrawal Management Specialist. This role involves coordinating and monitoring patient activities and daily operations of the assigned withdrawal management unit during the assigned shift. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently multitask and delegate work effectively. All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana testing), a comprehensive background check, and a TB test.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certified Addiction Technician (CAT) is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in withdrawal management, providing direct patient care, assessment, triage, crisis intervention, etc.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • CPR and First-Aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by the agency).
  • Must be able to take vital signs and recognize medical problems.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to employees on shift.
  • Cover the shift if the assigned employee calls in or fails to show up.
  • Address and resolve patients’ inquiries and complaints.
  • Clean and organize work area as needed.
  • Order supplies and products.
  • Report losses, employee behavioral issues, patient complaints, and other significant issues to upper-level management.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in interviewing applicants for open positions.
  • Oversee employee training sessions.
