About The Position

This role is for a Team Lead in the Warehouse, specifically focusing on the WHSE Setdown operations for the 2nd Shift. The Team Lead will assume the duties of the Dry Goods Warehouse Supervisor in their absence, support and train team members on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and key expectations, and guide new team members. The role involves executing change management plans, investigating and resolving team member complaints, and performing daily receiving activities and audits. The Team Lead will utilize ERP tools like SAP and JDA, participate in warehouse process audits, and ensure compliance with HACCP/SSOP and Quality Control programs. They will also work with maintenance on operational efficiencies, ensure proper material accounting and slotting, and report all inputs in a timely manner. Additionally, the role includes reviewing and approving process records, training team members on GMP and safety compliance, and backing up the Manager in reviewing time and attendance to ensure wage/hour law compliance. The Team Lead will also attend and participate in weekly meetings, leadership opportunities, review personal development tools, and support cross-functional team initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with ERP tools (SAP, JDA etc.)
  • Knowledge of HACCP/SSOP and Quality Control Program
  • Understanding of GMP compliance
  • Understanding of safety compliance
  • Ability to review Time & Attendance and ensure wage/hour law compliance
  • Ability to investigate and resolve team member complaints

Responsibilities

  • Assume the duties of the Dry Goods Warehouse Supervisor in his absence
  • Support all Team Members (SOP's, key expectations, KPI's)
  • Guide and train new Team Members on SOPs
  • Executing under Change mgmt plan
  • Investigate and resolve team member complaints and issues - report to supervisor
  • Perform or observe daily receiving activities
  • Perform receiving audits as needed
  • Complete daily checklist
  • Utilize & Learn ERP tools (SAP, JDA etc)
  • Participate in daily audits of warehouse processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Perform department complaint investigations and suggest corrective actions
  • Observe warehouse processes and ensure that all SOPs are followed
  • Monitor area KPI's for variance vs. target and make corrective actions
  • Execute and implement and ensure compliance to HACCP/SSOP, and Quality Control Program
  • Work with maintenance on operational efficiencies
  • Ensure all materials/supplies are accounted for and slotted properly
  • Ensure timely reporting of all inputs.
