About The Position

This role is for a Warehouse Team Lead on the 2nd shift, focusing on loading operations. The position involves overseeing daily department performance, ensuring product quality and flow, training team members, and managing various warehouse tasks to meet production and order fulfillment goals.

Requirements

  • Understanding and working knowledge of systems, including (but not limited to) ERP, Portean, Accusort, etc
  • Ability to train team members
  • Ability to perform regular quality checks and drive improvement of quality/efficiency
  • Ability to ensure employees are following SOPs and safety rules
  • Ability to verify that everything is put away at the end of the day
  • Ability to verify the schedule and plan accordingly to make sure that all orders are met
  • Ability to ensure product flow in and out of production rooms
  • Ability to manage staging of products for smooth transition
  • Ability to manage product flow to maximize efficiencies
  • Ability to identify, communicate and assist in identifying/resolving process deviations and other process related issues
  • Ability to assist in data entry for overall department performance trending
  • Ability to utilize Avantis work order system to communicate PIT and other trades issues
  • Ability to order supplies as needed

  • Experience driving lowboy or filling in on the line
  • Experience performing periodic temperature, leaker and burst tank checks

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with material management
  • Track the detail of daily department performance
  • SIC tracking
  • Locate pallets in Order Assembly (rework product)
  • Re-label or re-date product as needed
  • Drive lowboy or fill in on the line as needed
  • Perform periodic temperature, leaker and burst tank checks
  • Submit work requests
  • Train team members
  • Learn & specialize machinery and equipment
  • Fill in for breaks
  • Perform regular quality checks and drive improvement of quality/efficiency in the room
