About The Position

The Team Lead Trainer at McKee Foods Corporation is responsible for overseeing the training and development of new and existing employees within the team. This role involves coordinating and facilitating training sessions, ensuring that all staff members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and safely. The Team Lead Trainer will work closely with management to assess training needs, design curriculum, and implement training programs that align with company goals and standards. In addition, the Team Lead Trainer will mentor and support new hires, provide ongoing coaching, and evaluate employee performance to foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to drive productivity and employee engagement. Provides leadership of a work zone consisting of 4 or more team members. Provides primary work output on production floor with team members at least 90% of their scheduled shift. Facilitates quality, training, and standards within their work zone being the Subject Matter Expert. Helps to maintain a safe work environment. Maintains product and process quality. Maintains food safety and sanitation. Facilitates McKee Operating System initiatives including: Problem solving projects with team members Continuous improvement input Scheduling team members work and providing coverage as needed due to absences Creating and updating standard operating procedures Training and coaching team members using Training Within Industry (TWI) standards

Requirements

  • Must demonstrate excellent safety and product purity standards with the ability to coach others on HACCP systems
  • Identify, evaluate, and eliminate safety risks
  • Ability to understand and execute regulatory compliance responsibilities, including quality and cleaning checks.
  • Ability to write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to influence through training and coaching to standard utilizing TWI methodology
  • Ability to lead and coach team members on quality and standards
  • Excellent leadership skills demonstrated in a team of 4 or more
  • Ability to manage stressful situations effectively
  • Ability to lead problem-solving, continuous improvement efforts
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Ability to become a subject matter expert at all jobs in the area
