About The Position

Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system dedicated to providing life-changing care. The Tennessee Recovery Project (TRP) is a federally funded FEMA and SAMHSA grant program focused on crisis counseling and outreach for individuals impacted by natural disasters. This hybrid position offers semi-remote flexibility and involves overseeing a team of TRP Crisis Specialists. The role provides operational support, coordinates recovery efforts in disaster-affected communities, and ensures effective service delivery. The position is grant-funded through February 2027.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of local community resources and the school system.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral/Mental Health, or related discipline.
  • One year related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with program supervisor to ensure program efficiency.
  • Assists with daily functioning of program.
  • Helps with documentation review, staff referencing, service facilitation and coordination, trainings, and outreach coordination.
  • Supervises and supports the TRP Crisis Specialist team.
  • Coordinates team response and outreach to affected areas.
  • Maintains regular staff meetings.
  • Ensures data collection and reporting.
  • Attends all grant meetings with federal partners.
  • Assists in planning and development of events and services.
  • Implements clinical services for assigned programs.
  • Assists in development and coordination of collaborative services with other community agencies for the program in order to meet funding requirements.
  • Assists the implementation of long-range goals and annual objectives for assigned program.
  • Assists in planning and scheduling of outreach events for staff.
  • Assists in locating and establishing professional community relationships for community resources.
  • Attends supervisory meetings, conferences, and other training sessions.
