Team Lead, Testing & Validation
About The Position
The Team Lead, Testing & Validation is responsible for disciplinary and/or functional management of employees and for planning and tracking the budget in the assigned area. The role defines team targets in coordination with the Manager and acts as the main point of contact for development teams on functional, organizational, or commercial matters related to testing. The position ensures that product validation testing is carried out and that test results are evaluated. It derives and defines validation and testing requirements from system requirements, oversees safety in the laboratory and test area, and ensures safe test-bench operation in compliance with applicable standards and legal regulations. The role also develops validation and testing capabilities in coordination with the Manager, coordinates activities internationally with internal and external service providers and partners, prepares reports on work results, costs, and planned investments, and ensures equipment remains operational. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Manage employees disciplinarily and/or functionally.
- Plan and track the budget for the assigned area.
- Define team targets in coordination with the Manager.
- Serve as the main contact for development teams on functional, organizational, or commercial matters related to testing.
- Ensure product validation testing is performed and test results are evaluated.
- Derive and define validation and testing requirements based on system requirements.
- Ensure safety in the laboratory and test area, including safe test-bench operation and compliance with relevant standards and legal regulations.
- Develop validation and testing skills strategically in coordination with the Manager.
- Coordinate validation and testing activities internationally with internal and external service providers and partners.
- Prepare reports on work results, costs, and planned investments.
- Ensure equipment is operational.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
