About The Position

Caring Transitions of Essex is seeking an organized, compassionate Team Lead to help oversee our downsizing, senior relocation, estate clean-out, and online auction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can keep a small team organized, solve problems, and provide excellent service to seniors and their families. Our Team Leads work alongside the team while providing direction, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to Caring Transitions standards. This is not a desk-management position. Our Team Leads roll up their sleeves and work alongside the team while providing the leadership needed to keep each project moving.

Requirements

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or project coordination experience
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, flexible, and comfortable making on-site decisions
• Compassion and professionalism when working with seniors and families
• Comfortable with smartphones, apps, and basic technology
• Able to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift 30+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Team Members on client projects
• Organize and sort items for relocation, resale, donation, or disposal
• Oversee packing, unpacking, and client resettling
• Assist with online auctions, estate clean-outs, and buyer pickups
• Assign tasks and keep projects on schedule
• Train and mentor Team Members
• Communicate daily progress and concerns to management
• Reinforce safety procedures and company standards
