Requirements

  • Advanced quality production knowledge and experience
  • Superior mechanical ability
  • Good knowledge of production processes, measurement and inspection procedures, production planning and control
  • Experience in CNC Machining, Grinding, Welding, Stamping, Heat Treatment, or Assembly operations
  • SAP & Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
  • Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading employees and working as a team to optimize production performance
  • Responsible for using expertise to increase efficiency and productivity of operators and equipment to ensure consistent quality standards are met
  • Able to troubleshoot equipment assisting with changeovers, set-ups, and coordinate preventative maintenance and work schedules
  • Set the example for quality and good housekeeping practices
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance reports, incentive, scrap, SPC charts, and time and attendance / vacation scheduling
  • Encourages continuous improvement participation through SPS activities and using general problem-solving tools
  • Perform routine quality audits
  • Must have an assertive disposition, able to resolve conflict, communicate with others openly, and drive production to meet organizational objectives
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and safety guidelines
  • Lead and coach employees providing feedback regarding employee performance, quality, and safety
  • Mentor and empower employees to foster a team environment
