As a Team Lead, Procurement, you will be responsible for leading and participating in the day-to-day delivery of procurement services, ensuring the timely and compliant acquisition of goods and services to support organizational operations. This role provides hands-on procurement expertise while coordinating team activities and offering functional guidance. The position also provides procurement guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on sourcing approaches, contract considerations, and risk factors, supporting consistent and informed decision-making within established policies and frameworks. The Team Lead will also manage daily staff activities, including assigning and directing work, monitoring productivity, work quality and workloads, ensuring adherence to policies and practices standards. Meeting regularly with staff to provide guidance, review, analyze, and develop actionable plans to meet business needs. The position operates within defined procurement policies, legislative requirements, and organizational procedures, contributing to effective purchasing, contract administration, vendor management, and continuous improvement of procurement practices.
