About The Position

This position will make decisions regarding customers, business, and employee needs. The individual must have strong decision-making skills and a positive attitude with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. Team lead responsibilities are in addition to production responsibilities and the time spent each day will vary based on workload and team needs. Manufacturing documentation completion as required in each center of excellence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of the centers of excellence.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and coach a group of team members to achieve company, business, and team goals.
• Successful record of building positive relationships with co-workers and management.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Successful with being in front of a group and communicating business information.
• Commitment to teamwork.
• Self-Accountable, Self-Disciplined, and reliable nature.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Previous on the job training experience.
• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Promote and model safety and quality.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and bills of material.
• Good manual dexterity required.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree or in pursuit of Associates degree preferred with desire to advance into higher level management levels.
• MRD experience and material ordering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist PC with team decisions that will result in the best quality, cost, and delivery.
• Facilitation/driving of E.I. (Employee Involvement) and problem solving.
• Driving team and business goals.
• Scheduling production.
• Coordinating manpower, and vacation coverage to meet production needs.
• Monitoring all policies and ensuring adherence to include but not limited to: attendance, breaks, and identification of problem patterns.
• Monitor and drive efficiencies.
• Provide constructive feedback to management.
• Provide reliable, fair and unbiased feedback for employee evaluations.
• Involvement in new employee training and cross training.
• Other tasks/functions as deemed necessary by PC and/or Operations Director.
