About The Position

The Team Lead - Patient Service Representative is responsible for the patient check-in process, electronically updating patient personal and insurance information, handling a multi-line phone system, medical records filing and maintenance, and collection of co-pays and cash payments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
  • Greets patients, checks in appointments and verifies insurance.
  • Scans documents into electronic health record.
  • Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
  • Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments throughout the day.
  • Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
  • Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
  • Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
  • Distributes mail.
  • Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
  • Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
