This role is for a Team Lead to assist in directing the building and movement of Hillphoenix cases through the assembly process ensuring employee safety and the highest level of quality is achieved.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Read rulers, tape measures, metal squares, and other measuring instruments.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory/lead experience preferred
  • Six months’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work and manage all tasks in Offline Repair operations
  • Proven leader with experience leading within a large manufacturing organization; able to motivate teams and drive accountability
  • Develops, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Have a working understanding of all basic safety procedures and sets the example for proper use of all safety equipment and apparel
  • Direct daily activities in the work area to ensure daily production goals are met.
  • Develops and maintains the highest quality standard – zero defects. Works continuously to improve all areas.
  • Training and coaching of associates to include manufacturing practices, quality practices, and safety procedures.
  • Identify parts and part descriptions using work order information
  • Read and comprehend an “A” order.
  • Identify parts used on their assigned product line, and their placement location on the product itself.
  • Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line.
  • Read and comprehend the work order.
  • Performs any assembly-type function, using hand or power tools.
  • Identify parts and part descriptions using work order information.
  • Utilize appropriate information given on material gauging and dimensioning, etc.
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Performs appropriate preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
  • Communication of job status between shifts and continuation of work in progress
  • Coordinate with supervisor for associate vacation requests and assist in associate reviews and accident investigation
  • Understanding of all attendance and Human Resource policies.
  • Strong professional presence and high ethical standards of conduct.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities is a must.
  • Quickly and effectively shifts gears to meet changing business requirements.
