Offline Operator
About The Position
In this position as an Offline Operator you will be working in the Offline department. This is a key position in which you will be responsible for secondary function of product, ensuring quality standards and supplying added value products to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be a multi-tasker that can assist in meeting the customer demand while maintaining our high safety and quality standards. Requirements
- Prior forklift experience required
- At least 1 year of equipment or machine operation experience in manufacturing.
- Some experience in a fast-paced or high-speed environment, standardized work, safe work, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to follow work instructions and perform basic math.
- move around obstacles, wear required PPE, stand and walk for 8-12 hours, work near hot machinery, and climb, reach, squat, and bend
Responsibilities
- Complete paperwork accurately.
- Maintain and clean equipment and report defects.
- Operate hydraulic and electric reeler, lift truck, table saw, rotor and band saw.
- Parallel or coil duct.
- Inspect products for quality nonconformance.
- Assemble wooden and steel reels.
- Custom build reels.
- Process cable.
- Paint and stencil reels.
- Assist grinding crew with scrap pipe.
