About The Position

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate each patient’s plan of care. The nurse provides direct patient care as the primary caregiver and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role requires independent decision-making and collaboration with others, and includes access to confidential patient information. The position works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

This is a full-time day position, Monday through Friday, in Wound Care at Chillicothe AOSI. Compensation is hourly and based on nursing experience and education.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Three to five years of clinical nursing experience.
• One to two years in a leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse role.
