About The Position

As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will assure that dsm-firmenich products are consistently manufactured to high-quality standards in compliance with established dsm-firmenich/GMP procedures. dsm-firmenich Biomedical is a market leader in regenerative medicine and in the supply of biomaterials for medical devices. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 + years' experience in manufacturing and/or warehousing in the biotechnology, chemical or food manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and can follow technical directions.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all operations within their manufacturing department, non-controlled and controlled environment areas in accordance with dsm-firmenich standard operation procedures and all safety requirements as assigned.
  • Handling of chemicals and solvents may be required.
  • Perform operations outside own department when needed with no direct supervision.
  • Advanced understanding of processes and good troubleshooting skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver with good communication skills.
  • Rely on SOPs and production schedule following pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Work independently.
  • Ability to operate various equipment and hand tools in assigned areas with no supervision.
  • Report to Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager and a wide degree of expertise is expected.
  • Keep detailed, accurate, and legible paper and computerized records of production activities following dsm-firmenich/GMP guidelines.
  • Perform all SAP transactions.
