Direct and coordinate the respective focus area in production. The work activities, and resources necessary for window manufacturing products in accordance with safety, cost, labor & materials, quality, and quantity specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the respective focus area in production.
  • Supervise focus area production assembly employees, including safety and completion of daily production schedule requirements.
  • Train employees, assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, and resolve complaints and problems.
  • Ensure adherence to Plant Safety procedures, requirements, and PPE usage.
  • Provide direction, instructions, and guidance to production assembly workers.
  • Communicate and monitor production schedule completion.
  • Communicate operational KPI metrics.
  • Assure workers have necessary PPE and training to operate machinery and support production.
  • Communicate with production supervisor frequently regarding problems, concerns, and quality issues.
  • Work on the line at an assigned position, but also in other areas to cover absences or assist as needed.
  • Be able to fully work in every position in the assigned department.
  • Lead by example.
  • Serve as a Safety Committee Member.
  • Coordinate the work and activities of production assembly direct reports.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of factory assembly employees.
  • Make decisions and solve problems.
  • Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates.
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others.
