About The Position

Direct and coordinate the respective focus area in production. The work activities, and resources necessary for window manufacturing products in accordance with safety, cost, labor & materials, quality, and quantity specifications. This role directly supervises focus area production assembly employees in manufacturing, including safety and completion of daily production schedule requirements. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems. The role is also responsible for Plant Safety procedures, requirements, and PPE, providing direction, instructions, and guidance to production assembly workers, communicating and monitoring production schedule completion, communicating operational KPI metrics, assuring workers have necessary PPE and training to operate machinery and to support production, and communicating with the production supervisor frequently about problems, concerns, and quality issues. The Team Lead will work on the line at an assigned position but must also be able to work in other areas to help as needed to cover absences or assist, and must be able to fully work in every position in the assigned department, leading by example.
