About The Position
The Team Lead (Machine Assembly) is responsible for leading and supporting Machine Assembly associates while actively assembling and building manufacturing equipment for IDT’s various locations worldwide. The work is detail orientated and assemblies are built using technical drawings and schematics to maintain IDT’s approach to quality. This position reports to the Value Stream Leader - Machine Assembly and is part of the Machine Assembly department located in Coralville, IA, and will be an on-site role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years of experience in a mechanically related field required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or training associates preferred
- Previous electrical soldering experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Assigns work, monitors progress, and supports associates in meeting daily production and quality expectations.
- Follows standard operating procedures and work instruction documents while assembling IDT’s manufacturing equipment.
- Completes and reviews logs, reports and forms in order to document assembly procedures and qualification data.
