About The Position

FS Cut & Color is seeking a licensed stylist who is ready to take on more responsibility beyond client services. This is a hands-on leadership role for an individual who enjoys serving guests, mentoring other stylists, problem-solving, and contributing to a positive and professional salon environment. This position offers potential future growth into expanded leadership, profit-sharing, or ownership opportunities.

Requirements

Current Texas cosmetology license
Strong experience behind the chair
Strong haircutting, color, styling, and consultation skills
Dependable, professional, and team-focused
Comfortable coaching others and receiving coaching
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Initiative and willingness to take ownership
Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

Leadership or mentoring experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide haircuts, color, styling, and exceptional guest service.
Lead by example in professionalism, communication, and service quality.
Support and coach stylists with consultations, guest experience, productivity, retail, and salon standards.
Help onboard and develop new team members.
Assist with salon flow and day-to-day operational needs.
Help resolve guest concerns professionally.
Support salon goals including retention, rebooking, retail, reviews, and productivity.
Communicate clearly with management and ownership about team needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Take initiative, solve problems, and follow through on responsibilities.
