About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, the Team Lead – Inventory Puller provides hands-on leadership for assigned Inventory employees. The role organizes daily work, communicates priorities and deadlines, coaches team members, and helps the department meet safety, quality, cost, inventory accuracy, and production goals. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility required based on workload. Lakeshirts describes its culture as creative, team-driven, humble, and non-corporate. The company is a privately owned screenprint manufacturer that decorates and distributes garments for resort, college, and K-12 markets. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous supervisory experience.
Forklift certification.
Ability to assess needs, prioritize work, communicate effectively, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
Accurate counting skills and ability to understand order forms and inventory documentation.
Self-directed and dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Train the Trainer and LEAD workshop completion, preferred within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Lead with a Zero Accident Mentality and ensure safety, 6S, quality, and company standards are followed.
Assign daily workflow, organize priorities using production reports and work orders, and communicate deadlines.
Manage inventory control, including cycle counts, adjustments, transfers, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
Update Tier and hour-by-hour performance boards and participate in GEMBA walks to observe, engage, and improve.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly standard work, review processes, and identify efficiency improvements.
Conduct daily team check-ins and report performance to the Inventory Supervisor.
Partner with the supervisor on employee concerns, performance issues, quarterly reviews, and annual increase reviews.
Ensure timely training in job responsibilities, safety, and company policy, and motivate the team toward personal and department success.
Collaborate across the department and company, support special projects, and complete other assigned duties.
