About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is currently hiring a Patient Monitor Tech! This is a full-time position with rotating working hours. Position is ON-SITE and located in Williamsburg, VA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in Healthcare
• 1 year experience in Patient Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and accountability to the Remote Patient Monitoring Technicians on their assigned shift.
• Act as a department subject matter expert and assume the point of contact for concerns or problems that arise when a supervisor is not on site.
• Make decisions to elevate issues to the TC or Manager on call.
• Assist with training new staff and assisting with new team member onboarding.
• Function under the direction of the Program Manager and/or Team Coordinator.
• Promote positive patient experience by partnering with the patient’s family, staff, and other care providers to provide an excellent patient experience.
• Perform under stressful conditions with compassion, and respect to ensure patient privacy and dignity as appropriate.
