About The Position

Guide and train production employees and coordinate quality checks on an assigned production line. The Team Lead is responsible for training and directing 12–40 employees, assigning plant operations during the shift, meeting production schedules, maintaining employee and product safety, monitoring production and quality, and tracking usages and paperwork. The role works in a plant environment on the third shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work possible.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to follow up, be punctual, and communicate and work well with others in a plant environment.
• Ability to successfully multitask and troubleshoot.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with industry, trade and other associations, regulatory agencies, and company staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP is preferred.
