Team Lead, Global Live Operations

DoorDash USATempe, AZ

About The Position

The Global Live Operations team serves as the execution arm of the Live Operations Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, supporting real-time decision-making and operational continuity across the marketplace. We partner closely with S&O stakeholders to execute structured workflows, monitor live operations, and respond to disruptions such as severe weather, holidays, and demand spikes—ensuring strategic decisions are implemented accurately and consistently in real time. As a Team Lead on the Global Live Operations team, you will manage a small team of Specialists responsible for executing structured, real-time workflows that support DoorDash’s logistics operations. This is a highly execution-focused, player-coach role. You will oversee daily operations, ensure workflows are completed accurately and consistently, and step in directly when needed—especially during high-impact events or when coverage is limited. You will maintain a high bar for performance, reinforce consistent execution of playbooks, and address issues in real time. You will be managing performance in a high-volume, repetitive workflow environment where consistency and attention to detail are critical. Success in this role requires strong prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team operating in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. You will report to an S&O Associate Manager.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both your team and cross-functional partners
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and using data to identify trends or issues (SQL is a plus)
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to support a 24/7 operation
