This role involves operating manual and automated equipment to assemble products, ensuring they meet customer expectations for characteristics and dimensions. The associate will follow standardized work and process documentation, and actively participate as a team member to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and orderly work area, performing routine housekeeping and machine cleaning, and executing planned operator care and maintenance tasks. The role also involves handling rework, scrap transactions, and identifying non-conforming materials. Associates will collect and analyze operating data, utilize problem-solving techniques, and operate material handling equipment such as hoists and forklifts. Compliance with all departmental, site, and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, is mandatory. The position requires participation in training and personal development, assisting with training other personnel, and contributing to improvement projects. Effective communication with the team and support teams is essential, as is maintaining housekeeping and safety in work areas. Flexibility and willingness to perform other miscellaneous duties are expected, along with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision and operate within a team-based work system, rotating job routines as needed.
