About The Position
The Department of Chemistry at Emory University invites applications for a teaching track professor (open rank) position in Organic or Biochemical/Biophysical Chemistry. The candidate will be responsible for teaching both lecture and/or laboratory courses. The candidate will be appointed as Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor depending on qualifications and years of experience. This is a career-track position with full faculty governance rights and responsibilities, competitive salary and benefits, with potential for regular term renewal and promotion through the teaching track ranks. The expected start date is in the fall of 2027. The candidate will join a cohesive group of tenure- (28) and teaching-track (7) faculty who teach in our innovative undergraduate curriculum, Chemistry Unbound. Requirements
- Completion of a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry, biochemistry, or biophysical chemistry at the start of the appointment.
