About The Position
The Department of Human Communication Studies at CSU Fullerton is seeking applications for a Teaching Associate position. This is a pool of teaching associates for the department to draw on as necessary. Well-qualified graduate students are assigned Teaching Associate duties up to a maximum of 20 hours per week, working under the direct supervision of a faculty member. Assignments are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term, with applicants potentially being offered course assignments on very short notice.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies or related field or equivalent experience.
- Must be a currently enrolled graduate student in the Department of Human Communications Studies with a GPA of 3.20 or better.
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
- Coursework or prior teaching experience in the particular course topic.
