The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies seeks a Teaching Associate for AY 26/27 to assist primary instructors with undergraduate education. This position works closely with faculty to facilitate discussion sections, provide academic support to studies, grade assignments and examinations, and assist with course administration. This is a nine-month appointment/full-time from September through May and comes with regular BU benefits. The teaching associate will typically attend lectures, lead six discussion sections per semester, and hold weekly office hours. The position may support any of three classes required for international relations majors, IR 271 Introduction to International Relations, IR 349 History of International Relations from 1900-1945, and IR 350 History of International Relations since 1945.
