About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the MBAB 5P13 Fall D2 course. Requirements
- Previous experience as a TA
- Knowledge of the data mining software – WEKA
- Knowledge of DB applications, particularly: MS-ACCESS & MS SQL SERVER
- Familiarity with the basic functions of D2L to guide students with the uploading and/or downloading of files with tasks related to lab practices, assignments and lab tests
- Background in Database Management and Database design, including basic concepts of Relational Databases and Database Normalization theories
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of seminar material
- Student consultation
- Marking or grading
- Examination proctoring
- Attending lectures
- Holding office hours
- Other course administration as may be required
