About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the SPMA 1P91 Introduction to Sport Management course for the Fall D2-1 term. This position is part of CUPE4207-1 and is paid according to qualifications. The duties involve scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Requirements

• At least a fourth-year student currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Sport Management, or equivalent
• Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
• Punctual in attending classes
• Able to meet appropriate deadlines
• Proven track record of working effectively with competent and quick marking turnaround

Nice To Haves

• MA or higher will be given preference
• Preferable to have taken the course with an 80% grade
