About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for Preclinical Operative Dentistry DENT 242 at McGill University. The role involves attending lectures, supervising student groups in lab exercises, providing feedback, giving individual demonstrations, and communicating student progress to the course coordinator. Onboarding training will be provided. The position is available on Friday mornings for both Fall and Winter semesters.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree or equivalent from accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Attend all lectures given on Thursdays from 1:00-2:00 pm in fall semester OR Friday am 8-9 am
• Supervise a student group of 8-10 students in the lab exercise of the day
• Give feedback to students on how to achieve success in exercises
• Give live demonstration individually 1:1 to students
• Communication with course coordinator as to student progress
