About The Position

The Teaching Assistant will support instructors with company-created curriculum and materials, helping advanced students grasp complex concepts. This role involves working one-on-one with students during class activities, providing additional help when needed, and assisting in maintaining an organized learning environment for up to 16 students. The Teaching Assistant will also help with grading and providing constructive feedback on student work, and will connect with students and staff to encourage their learning journey and academic growth, fostering an environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity.

Requirements

Must be 16 years old or older
Possess strong math skills with the ability to help students navigate advanced concepts
Exceptional written and spoken communication
Positive and encouraging attitude that helps students feel comfortable asking questions
Detail-oriented and organized
Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

Experience with/interest in working with younger students strongly preferred
Familiarity with the AoPS curriculum is a plus
