About The Position
The Teaching Assistant (TA) will support the 'Enabling Human Occupation OCC1-550' course during the Fall 2026 term. Responsibilities include facilitating professional reasoning workshops, guiding class discussions and group activities, grading assignments, and holding office hours to provide student support. The position is for approximately 90 hours per term, running from September 9th, 2026, to December 2nd, 2026. The hourly salary is $38.46.
Requirements
- Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.
- Familiarity with course material and assignments.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
- Expertise in pediatric occupational therapy will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist in facilitating professional reasoning workshops.
- Guide class discussions and group activities.
- Participate in the grading of class assignments.
- Be available for office hours to provide additional support to students.
