About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for ARCH 447, Energy, Environment, and Buildings 2, for the Fall 2026 term at McGill University. The role involves supporting students with assignments, leading tutorial sessions, and assisting with course content review and grading. Requirements

  • Able to attend classes.
  • Proficiency with Grasshopper for Rhino.
  • Familiarity with Ladybug Grasshopper for Rhino, Climate Studio, and/or other such climate/weather data analysis tools.
  • Have completed ARCH 377 EEB 1 or ARCH 641 Energy and Environments 1.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must be willing to work in the province of Quebec.
  • Must have English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Input and collate data (grades) based on quizzes, peer reviews, and assignments
  • Lead tutorial sessions to support student-teams with questions on completing assignments outside of class hours
  • Participate in reviewing course content to give feedback including marking assignments and providing teaching support.
