BA 411 Part-Time Teaching Assistant
About The Position
The Smeal College of Business Department of Accounting is seeking to hire numerous teaching assistants for Business Analysis (BA 411). BA 411 is the capstone Smeal undergraduate course. It provides students with a methodology for analyzing businesses and trains the student to prepare and professionally present business analysis reports. As a BA 411 teaching assistant, you will be responsible for leading a weekly lab section of approximately 50 students, instructing the students in business analysis practices, and grading all student coursework. CAPSIM business simulation is the foundation for the students to apply knowledge and analytics to running a fictitious company. It is an incredibly robust simulation that will become the basis for all of your students' analysis. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to learn more about business analysis and the interrelated functions of business as well as make an impact on the future graduates of the Smeal College of Business.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
- Candidates should be available for one full academic year
- Candidates are asked to upload a cover letter and up-to-date resume
Nice To Haves
- Teaching and/or professional work experience is preferred
