About The Position

The Teaching Assistant position at Greenwich House Pottery offers hands-on classroom experience in ceramic-based studio courses, including wheel throwing, hand building, slip casting, mold making, and related technical or historical areas. Teaching Assistants are engaged for specific courses for defined periods, ranging from a single class meeting to multi-week sessions. Assignments may include introductory classes for adults and families, private events, and courses for children and teens, older adults, and therapeutic programs. Class schedules vary and may take place in the morning, afternoon, or evening according to program needs.
