About The Position

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time, Teaching Assistant Professor position in the Department of Health Promotion and Development. This Appointment-Stream position involves teaching and mentoring students in a classroom setting, contributing to course development and delivery, and supporting student learning, professional development, and readiness for practice. Other duties may be assigned based on department needs. Faculty promotion opportunities are available for all ranks. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements

  • An earned doctorate in nursing or a field related to the area of scholarship within the School of Nursing
  • Evidence of or potential for a sustained and impactful program of scholarship
  • Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring
  • Ability to contribute to a learning environment that values inclusivity
  • A statement of your area of scholarship and why you believe you will be successful at Pitt Nursing

Responsibilities
