About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the Child Development course (PSY2105, Section I00) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course will be offered in person, and TAs will be expected to be available on campus for in-person duties such as proctoring and handling deferrals, as outlined by the course instructor. Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Current enrolment in the MA/PhD program in Psychology.
  • All University of Ottawa employees must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Ability to apply for positions using the worker profile in Workday if currently an active employee of the University of Ottawa.

Responsibilities

  • Training, preparation, contact with students, marking, grading, and proctoring all exams for the Child Development course (PSY2105, Section I00).
  • Being available to come on campus for any in-person duties outlined by the course instructor, such as proctoring and handling deferrals.
