About The Position

The Teaching Assistant (TA) will assist in providing bilingual support during weekly hands-on lab sessions for the course 'Advanced Methods in Biomedical Research - Cell Biology and Microscopy' (TMM 4911, Section A00). This is a new position for the 2026 Fall Semester, with an expected enrollment of 20 students. The TA will work under the supervision of Laura Trinkle-Mulcahy.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with cell culture, immunofluorescence, transfection, fixed and live cell multi-wavelength imaging, cell-based assays and advanced image analysis is essential.
  • Must be a good communicator in both English and French.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.

Responsibilities
