About The Position
This posting is for a new position as a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor for the Fall 2026 semester in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science. The specific course is Calcul différentiel et intégral II (MAT-1722, Section C). The role involves direct contact with students for 50 hours, primarily through leading tutorial sessions (DGDs). The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Student with a minimum of 30 credits in mathematics & statistics.
- Good understanding of the subject matter for Calcul différentiel et intégral II.
- Priority will be given to graduate students in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Responsibilities
- Provide contact with students for 50 hours, including leading tutorial sessions (DGD C01: Tuesdays 7:00 p.m. - 8:20 p.m., DGD C02: Thursdays 7:00 p.m. - 8:20 p.m.).
- Perform tasks as negotiated and signed with the supervising professor.
- Complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
