About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Principles of Sociology course (SOC1101, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is for a new role and will be located at the Main Campus. The Faculty is the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Unit is the School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies. The TA will be responsible for various tasks related to the course, including discussion groups, marking papers and exams, holding office hours, and proctoring exams. The student must meet deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested. The course will be delivered in person, and assistants are expected to be available to travel to campus to complete their tasks. Teaching methods may change due to health measures or other reasons. The TA must also meet the language requirement of the course.
