About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the SOC1301 - Building Sociological Reasoning course, Section A00, during the Fall 2026 semester at the Main Campus. The Faculty is the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Unit is the School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies. The role involves various responsibilities related to supporting the course and its students. The course will be delivered in person, and the TA is expected to be available to travel to campus to fulfill their duties. Teaching methods may change due to health measures or other reasons. The TA must also meet the language requirement of the course, which is English.
Requirements
- Must meet the language requirement of the course (English)
- Must be available to physically travel to campus to successfully complete all tasks
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
- Must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor
- Must attend lectures if requested to do so
